Thread Builder vs Generate: when to write, when to draft with AI
Generate spends a generated-thread meter when the draft appears. Thread Builder does not. Both still need your approval before anything is live. Images are Builder-only.
Two ways into the same queue. You stay in the loop on both.

Generate
- Feeds on unused titles (Titles page, nav label Titles).
- Builds multi-user threads in helper voices.
- Spends generated threads when a draft is created (visible = charged).
- Up to 50 drafts per run. Cancel keeps drafts already created.
- You still open Drafts, edit if you like, Approve → queue.
Use this when you have board context and want volume you will actually read.
Thread Builder
- Pick board and title (unused topic or a new one).
- Compose posts. Add post. Searchable users, quotes, drag-reorder.
- Insert image: JPEG, PNG, GIF (not WebP), max 10 MB.
- Save or Move to queue. Move needs an active trial or paid window. It does not spend the generated-thread meter.
- Counted posts spend when a Builder post (or an extra reply on an AI thread) goes live.
- After a post is live on the forum, you cannot delete that thread from Thread Builder. Remove it from the forum itself if you need it gone.
Use this when the conversation has to be exact (launch announcement, known in-jokes, screenshots).
Shared rules
Approve before live. Ownership must already have passed. Failed posts do not count.
