Create a Discourse Admin API key for Forum Seeder

Discourse is API-only. Claim cannot finish without a key at User Level All Users. Forum Seeder stores it encrypted and sends Api-Key plus each helper Api-Username.

You still prove the domain (DNS or HTML). The key is how posts are created after that.

In Discourse

  1. Sign in as an admin on your Discourse.
  2. Admin → API → New API Key.
  3. User Level: All Users.
  4. Copy the key once. Discourse will not show it again.

In Forum Seeder

  1. Start the trial from Forum Seeder.
  2. Claim site. Engine: Discourse. The Discourse API key field appears (required).
  3. Paste the key. Claim. Then verify ownership as usual.
  4. Settings always shows the API key field and hides the posting-method dropdown.

Forum Seeder stores the key encrypted. Workers send Api-Key plus each helper Api-Username.

Can I use Automated Browser on Discourse?
No. Discourse is API-only in Forum Seeder.
